The first tenant of 18 Sheshader was Norman Macleod (1829-1891) son of Norman, 15 Swordale and he passed the croft to his son, Murdo Macleod. (1861-).

The next tenant was John Macleod (1876-) son of Alexander, 19 Sheshader and he passed the croft to his son, Murdo Macleod (18961-) who also obtained 17 Sheshader.

18 Sheshader was passed to John Macleod (1876-) son of Alexander, 19 Sheshader who passed it to his son, Murdo Macleod. The croft was then divided between his sisters, Henrietta Macleod  and Helen Macleod.

Angus Macleod (1882-) son of Alexander, 19 Sheshader was a Cottar on 18 Sheshader.
