The tenant of 9 Calbost was Murdo Morrison (1797-1870). He died and the croft was divided between his sons, Alexander and John. Alexander obtained 8b Calbost and John 8a Calbost.

Alexander (1840-1915) passed 9b Calbost to his son, Malcolm (1875-1953). Malcolm’s daughter, Kenina (1906-1986) inherited 9a and 9b Calbost.
