This croft was made in the 1850’s for Donald Young, Callanish.  It passed to his daughter Margaret, married to Donald Mackay, Callanish.  They left Knock in the 1870’s and settled in Glasgow and the croft was sold to John Mackay, 4 Kirvick and later to Malcolm Maciver, 32 Knock Carloway.
