21489: 25 Laxay

Angus Macleod (1799-1871), also known as Tolmie, moved from Keose to Laxay in the mid 1820s. His son Colin (1847-1930) inherited the croft, followed by Colin’s son Malcolm (1889-1956)

Malcolm and his family moved to Stornoway in the 1930s and the croft went to Torquil Macleod (1903-1986), 16b Laxay.
