21536: 40 Balallan

Murdo Macaulay (1811-1875) from Balallan settled here with his family. His son Malcolm (1855-1893) inherited the croft, followed by Malcolm’s daughter Marion (1889-1968). The croft passed to Hector Macaulay, 33 Balallan.
