21553: 64 Balallan

This piece fo ground was originally lotted as 59 Balallan. However, from the 1850s, the holding was used by the estate for various purposes and a new 59 Balallan was added at the end of the village.

Rev John Macdonald (1845-1896) who was inducted to Kinloch in 1885, lived at 64 until the completion of the Free Church Manse in Laxay in 1895.

Malcolm Martin (1862-1950) and his family came here from 48 Balallan.
