11 Hacklete
Before Hacklete was populated in 1880, it was a tack and the tackhouse was located on what is today 11 Hacklete. After 1880 the first tenant on this croft was Aulay Macaulay, "Amhlaidh Sheorais". The tenancy has remained with his descendants since then.
Various finds (a stone hoe, mace-head, quernstones etc) have been found at No 11 indicating an Iron Age Settlement
