4470: 1 Breaclete

The first recorded tenant (from 1851 census) of 1 Breaclete was Norman “Tormod Ruadh” Macinnes. Sometime in the mid 1900s the Maciver family of 3 Breaclete acquired the tenancy and a bungalow was built with stone from three ruins on the croft. The first tenant was a Polish officer from Aird, Uig. The croft has remained with the Maciver family.
