5180: 24 Laxay

The first tenant of 24 Laxay was Donald Morrison who married Ann Macdonald, 42 Luerbost. Ann remarried to Donald Macleod, 60 Luerbost and their son Malcolm (1869-1957) inherited the croft. Malcolm’s daughter Annie, married to Angus Macleod, Harris were the tenants until they moved to Drinishader, Harris in the late 1950s, after which the croft was sold.
