The first tenant of this croft was Angus Macleod who moved from Croir, Bernera. The family moved back to Croir in the 1850s and the croft passed to William Macleod, 13a Kirvick. William's son Murdo (b1851) inherited the croft but as he had no family, it passed to Duncan Macleod, 8 Borrowston. Duncan's son John and his wife Effie, resided on the croft.
