66990: 14 Kirvick

This croft was created in the late 1880s for Malcolm Mackay who came from 1 Kirvick. He married Williamina Maclean, Newvalley, Stornoway. There was no issue from this marriage and after they moved to Stornoway, the croft passed to Murdo Mackay, Callanish and later to Murdo Maclean, 21 Garenin. Murdo’s son Neil took over the tenancy and his son John now owns the croft.
