67382: 4 Borve, Berneray

4 Borve was created in 1900, when the Congested Districts Board for Scotland persuaded the South Harris Estate to break up Borve Farm and re-allocate the land as crofts. 

Croft 4 was allotted to Donald MacLeod and following his death, to his daughter Hannah. The tenancy was later given to Archie MacIsaac, who lived instead at Rhuvanish.
