On the death of Malcolm Macleod in 1862, croft 6/7 Kirvick was split, his son John residing at 6 Kirvick and Murdo at 7 Kirvick.. Malcolm (1867-) inherited the croft which was then passed to his son Donald (1901-) and then to Malcolm John (1936-2015).
