68419: 7 Knock Carloway

This split croft was created on Murdo Macphail’s death when 6 Knock Carloway was split between his sons Norman, 6 Knock; John, 7 Knock and nephew Malcolm, 8 Knock.

Malcolm’s son Angus (b1852) then became the tenant, followed by his daughter Christina.

The croft was later sold to Angus Smith, 3 Borrowston and thereafter to Malcolm Macdonald, 7 Knock.
