71154: 4 Park Carloway

The first tenant of this croft was Donald Macneil (1798-1867).  He was married to Catherine Macaulay but nothing further is known about them.  In the 1850s, Donald exchanged crofts with Alexander Macleod, 40 Upper Carloway and was passed on to Alexander’s son Donald (1852-1941).  Donald Macleod’s daughter Margaret (1885) lived on the croft with her husband and family.
