The first tenant of this croft which was lotted c1851 was Donald Macleod, 10 Borrowston, married to Effie Macarthur, 8 Tolsta Chaolais. Out of their family of ten, five died at a young age. Malcolm (b1871) inherited the croft and settled there with wife Ann Maclean, 40 South Bragar.
