76444: ‘House 1’ Lamerick

This was a cottar’s house, the home of Norman MacKillop and his family from 1854, and then, from about 1884 of John MacDonald and his new wife Ann. The house later passed to their son Murdo John.

This property is referred to as ‘house 1’ in the croft history of the area.
