7668: 11 Keose

Donald Macdonald (1813-1896) son of John Macdonald and Effie Macrae, Orinsay moved from Kershader to 11 Keose in the 1840s. Local tradition has it that Donald, with his three brothers lived in the house belonging to Allan Ross, Headmaster after their eviction from Orinsay in 1843. Two of Donald’s brothers went to Crossbost and Alexander lived at 13 Keose.
