7670: 11b Keose

Effie Macdonald (1860-1955), 11 Keose, married James Montgomery, 4 Balallan and they became the first tenants of 11b Keose. Their son Alexander was the tenant up to his death in 1968 when the croft went to his nephew Donald Alex Montgomery who was living in London. Donald Alex sold the croft to Mr Allan Grant, who in turn sold the croft to his brother in law, Kenneth Mackenzie (Kenny Ban) from Luerbost.
