The first tenant of this croft was Kenneth Kennedy (1829-1863) son of Donald, 29 Balallan.

Kenneth died young and 10 Lemreway was taken by Kenneth Chisholm (1834-1905) son of Murdo, 30 Gravir. His son Angus's widow moved to Stornoway after the Second World War and the croft went to her brother, Neil Carmichael (1868-1958) son of John, 16 Lemreway.
