The first tenant of this croft was Donald Nicolson (1776-1853) 5 Old Gravir. The croft was then passed to 

Torquil Matheson (1811-1888) son of Domhnall Ban Matheson who came from Uig and settled at 13 Gravir.

This croft was bought by John Murdo Macaskill, Lake House and subsequently passed it on to his son Alick John. The family lived at Lake House and worked 4 Gravir.
