977: 2 Glenside, Gravir

Glenside was formed as a new settlement in 1924 to relieve the pressure of over-population in Gravir.

The first tenant of 2 Glenside, Gravir was Roderick Macleod (1865-1942) who moved from 38 Gravir and was originally from 1 Calbost. He passed the croft to the family of his son, Angus (1904-1940).
