A farmstead comprising one unroofed building, which is annotated as a Ruin, three roofed buildings and three enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 24). The farmstead shares a head-dyke with the township of Earshader (NB13SE 33).
Four unroofed buildings and two enclosures are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1974).
