Deserted township, planned by I A Crawford on behalf of the School of Scottish Studies.

A township, comprising thirteen roofed buildings, four of which are annotated ‘Ruins’ and two as ‘Mill (Corn)’, two unroofed buildings, one of which is a mill and two enclosures is depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Island of Lewis, Ross-shire 1854, sheet 17). Four unroofed buildings are shown on the current editions of the OS 1:10000 map (1972 and 1974).
