What may be three unroofed shieling-huts annotated as Ruins are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1855, sheet 41), but they are not shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).

Three unroofed buildings marked as ruins on 1st edition OS map, arranged in two discrete groups on adjacent ridges: buildings oval – sub-rectangular with internal dimensions of roughly 3 x 2m.
