What may be three unroofed shieling-huts, which are annotated as Ruins, are depicted on the 1st edition of the OS 6-inch map (Ross-shire, Island of Lewis 1854, sheet 34). One unroofed building and one black dot, which may indicate the location of a building and which is annotated as an Old Shieling, are shown on the current edition of the OS 1:10000 map (1973).
