104129: New Tolsta, Lewis

New Tolsta came into existence in 1922 when Tolsta Farm was broken into crofts. It occupies the same general area as the original settlement of North Tolsta (referred to as Old North Tolsta on this website), which was cleared in 1852 to make way for the farm.
