Blairgowrie, Perthshire
Blairgowrie is a town in the historical Scottish county of Perthshire. It underwent a major expansion during the 19th century in association with the flax industry, and more recently became a centre for the commercialised growing of soft fruit. The borough of Blairgowrie was united with the adjoining borough of Rattray in 1928 and the combined settlement is now the largest town in Perthshire (Perth itself being a city).
