205: Parish of Barvas, Lewis

Barvas was one of four parishes into which the Isle of Lewis was historically divided. It extended along the northwest coast of the island from Shawbost to Ness. Historical records for the area are collected by three present-day comainn eachdraidh (historical societies): Ness, Barvas and West Side.
