2129: Kintail Parish, Ross & Cromarty

The parish of Kintail lies on the west coast of Scotland immediately opposite the southern end of the Isle of Skye. Kintail is characterised by a system of sea lochs interspersed with some of Scotland’s highest mountains, among them the celebrated Five Sisters of Kintail and the South Glenshiel ridge. The main settlement in the area is Kyle of Lochalsh.
