44515: Aird Tong, Lewis
Aird Tong is a crofting village adjacent to the rocky shore of Broad Bay on the east coast of Lewis. Although originally separate, it is contiguous with the neighbouring village of Tong today.
The very earliest settlers in Aird Tong settled in an area known as Poll Mor and Creag Ard Thunga around 1815.
