Mansewood is a residential district in Glasgow, situated south of the river Clyde. It is surrounded by the districts of Thornliebank, Eastwood, Giffnock and Hillpark. Originally glebe land (belonging to the church), development first started in the late 1870s but the push for housing after the Second World War saw major development in the 1950s.
