Direascal, Harris

Direascal, located in a remote spot on the south shore of Loch Resort (Gaelic: Loch Reasort) was the home of three families from Scarp who left their overcrowded island in 1885. However, they did not stay long: in 1900 three crofts were established in Hushinish for the crofters from Direascal.

Alternate names for this location are Dirascal and Diriscol.
