11945: Fishing Equipment
A collection of fishing equipments from the croft at 1 Geshader.
(i) Weighted object, could be a paternoster, has 7 lines attached to it, one has a hook.
Line attached to top by twine hoop.
(ii) Horsehair snoods looped for tying hooks too. Black strands and white strands.
(iii) Paper bag full of hooks, no eyelets in hooks, they would be attached with twine.
(iv) Thread-like brown twine.
(v) White feathers.
(vi) Two needles – net needles one with thread attached.
