A large oval dish with a bird and flower design, geese flying with surrounding
flowering branch, in the centre of dish, bamboo and various flowers and small birds
on the edge of dish.
BERBER stamped on base.
16 pressed into base.
The Ashet was donated to Christina a’ Ghreasaich, 11 Geshader, by Lady Matheson on her selling up and leaving Lewis Castle. Lord Leverhulme bought the castle.
