Mounted on a gimble in pine box, brass fluid-filled compass, sliding lid, box is dovetailed, compass is fixed in box. The mounts are fixed.
Used on the Mairi Dhonn.
Gifted to Bernera Museum by the son of Donald Macaulay, the owner/skipper of the Mairi Dhonn.
