24528: Gaelic Society, Vancouver
The Society was formed in 1908 to serve as a meeting place for Gaelic speaking Scots.
They participated in buying the land and building the Scottish Auditorium. They continue to offer Gaelic classes and hold ceilidhs.
They aim to preserve and encourage the Gaelic heritage.
