10081: Margaret Maclennan
Margaret Maclennan (1887 – mid 1950s) became the third wife of John Smith in 1919. Margaret and John did not have any children.
She collected as many of her husband’s compositions as she could and they were later published as A’ chulaidh as fheàrr : taghadh de laoidhean.
After Borve Lodge in Harris was bought in 1937 by Colonel Douglas Walker and Mrs Walker, Margaret worked there as Mrs Walker’s lady’s maid.
