Angus (born c1854) was a son of Alexander Maciver and Isabella Macleod, 2b Lochganvich. In 1870 the family moved to 41 Gravir and returned to 2b Lochganvich in the late 1870s.  Angus became a cottar on this croft.

At Stornoway, in 1888, he married Marion Macnab from Guershader. 

Angus was widowed in 1890 and married Catherine Macmillan from 38 Balallan, at Stornoway, in 1891.
