Barbara (1923-1994) was a daughter of John Matheson and Agnes Macmillan, 25 Gravir. In 1925 the family moved to 23 Gravir and in 1929 moved to 4 Glenside, Gravir.
In Perth, in 1948, she married William Leslie from Perth and they settled there. They had a son and a daughter.
