Marion, also known as Morag, was the daughter of John MacKillop and Ann MacKillop of 12 Borve.  Born in 1911, she was a pupil at Berneray School between 1917 and 1925. In the 1930s she worked as a cook in London. She later married widower James MacCuish of 17 Borve, with whom she was to have two children. Morag survived her husband, living to the age of 101 years.
