104897: Donald John MacKillop
Donald John was the son of Angus MacKillop and Effie Munro of 13 Borve. He started attending Berneray School in 1915. He later became a sea captain and emigrated to Vancouver, as did three of his siblings. In March 1949 he returned to Scotland in order to collect the newly built passenger liner SS Princess Marguerite II for the Canadian Pacific Railway.
