10587: John Morrison
After their mother’s death John and his brother, Dannaidh, were raised by their uncles, the two Donalds, at 19 Kirkibost. John left Bernera and no more was heard from him, until a chance encounter in South Shields during World War Two. Peter Murdo Macdonald 16 Kirkibost got into a conversation with a man sitting next to him in a bar who, by strange coincidence, happened to be his old neighbour John.
