Eric Angus Bodley

Eric Angus (1919-1943), born in Glasgow, was the son of Christina Macleod, 9 Enaclete and Mr. Bodley. Eric and his sister were raised with their grandparents and uncle at 10 Ardroil, when their mother returned to Canada after the death of their father.

Eric served as a corporal in the Seaforth Highlanders during the Second World War and was killed in action at the battle of Wadi Akarit, North Africa, April 1943, aged 24 years. A record for him can be found in the Roll of Honour 1939-1945.
