Aneas Iain (1945-2014), born in Inverness, was a son of Finlay Maclean, Garynahine and Catherine Isabel Smith, 13 Ardroil. The family lived in several places. Aneas settled in Edinburgh. He was married with a son and daughter and lived in Bernera and Back during his teaching career.
