Donald (born 1857) was a son of Norman Morrison and Catherine Matheson, 20 Brenish. Donald married Christina Macritchie, 15 Brenish and they lived as cottars on 20 Brenish. They had seven children, one of whom, Alexander, died in infancy.
They relocated to 1 Mangersta when the village was relotted in 1911.
