Matilda Macleod (1837-1916) was a daughter of Donald Macleod and Annie Mackenzie, 3 Lower Sandwick, Stornoway.
At Stornoway, in 1857, she married Murdo Nicolson, 6 Old Steimreway and 21 Lemreway. Matilda and Murdo settled at Kenneth Street, Stornoway and they had eight children.
Her father, Donald and her husband, Murdo were both tailors.
Matilda was widowed in 1914.
