106843: Effie MacLeod
Effie MacLeod (possibly MacDonald), born about 1803, married Donald MacCusbic, a tenant farmer in old Borve. They were to have at least four children together.
However, in 1854 the tenants in Borve were cleared from their land in order to make way for Borve Farm. Effie and Donald chose to emigrate to Australia, leaving Plymouth on the Royal Albert on 15th August 1855.
