Kenneth (1840-1915) was a son of Alexander Mackenzie and Margaret Macarthur, 8 Old Lemreway.
The village was cleared in 1843 and the family were moved to Croft No. 26 Crossbost.
In Lochs, in 1871, he married Catherine Mackenzie, 12 Calbost. Kenneth and Catherine settled at 26 Crossbost and they had eight children.
