107337: Archibald McCallum

Archibald (born 1896) was a son of Archibald McCallum and Margaret Ross Mackenzie Matheson, Balallan Schoolhouse. The family later moved to Ballachulish.

Archibald emigrated to Australia just before the First World War, working there as a labourer. He enlisted in the Australian Army in 1915 and returned to Europe, where he fought in France. Later he was medically discharged and went back to Australia, where he married and raised a family.
